Ms. Efird earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Pfeiffer University.
Ms. Efird began her accounting career in industry. She worked for several years for an area regional hospital where she served as assistant controller overseeing the accounting for fourteen physician practices and a long-term care facility. Her responsibilities included cash management, financial statement preparation and capital and operational budgeting for all entities, and presentation of financial results and projections to their respective board of directors and physicians.
Ms. Efird joined Moyer, Smith & Roller, P.A. in January of 2004. She immediately became involved in both the audit and tax fields. In addition, she is very involved in the community. She is an active member in the Monroe Rotary Club and serves on the board of directors for ARC Services of Union County. She is a member of the American Institute of CPA’s as well as the North Carolina Association of CPA’s.
